How to Submit an Actionable Bug or Compatibility Report

To help us distinguish browser API limits from operating-system routing or a device issue, please include the following non-sensitive details:

• Diagnostic Tool: The specific test page (e.g., Microphone Test, Webcam Test, Call Quality, Monitor Refresh).
• Web Browser: Exact browser name and build version (e.g., Chrome 128.0, Safari 18.0, Firefox 130.0, Edge 128.0).
• Operating System: OS platform and version (e.g., Windows 11 23H2, macOS Sequoia 15.0, Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, ChromeOS 126).
• Hardware Device: Exact make, model, and connection interface (e.g., Shure MV7 via USB-C, AirPods Pro 2nd Gen via Bluetooth, Focusrite Scarlett 2i2).
• Observed vs. Expected Behavior: Describe what MeterSee displayed (e.g., "Speech peak stayed below −75 dBFS despite loud speech") versus what you anticipated.

Privacy Safeguard: Do Not Submit Sensitive Data

MeterSee does not need the following information to investigate most reports, and we advise against sending it:

• Private audio or voice recordings of personal conversations.
• Video snapshots or webcam footage.
• System serial numbers, IP addresses, or MAC addresses.
• Personal identification documents, account passwords, or financial credentials.

A concise technical description of the browser symptoms and reproduction steps is sufficient to investigate virtually all compatibility reports.

Responsible Vulnerability Disclosure Policy

If you identify a potential vulnerability in the public site, please email security@metersee.com with steps to reproduce it and avoid accessing other people's data. MeterSee cannot promise a response or remediation schedule. This contact channel does not grant authorization to bypass controls, access accounts, or test third-party systems.
